MSHS Alumni Award

The MSHS Alumni Scholarship Award was established to provide support for a graduating student in the WesternU College of Health Sciences MSHS program who has maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and who exemplifies the characteristics of an engaged alumni supporter. One (1) award is available at $100, and the award funds can be used toward tuition, books or conference attendance.

Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated merit, academic strengths, leadership skills, humanism, inter-professionalism, involvement during their time in the MSHS program and who shows interest in pursuing a career in academia or public health.

Applicants must write a short essay with little to no spelling/grammatical errors and written in informal tone that 1) may express desire to serve as an alumni representative, 2) provides 2-3 examples of how he/she will be an active alumnus/a, and 3) may explain what being an MSHS alumnus/a means to him/her.
