Crans Family Scholarship

The Crans Family Scholarship is available to WesternU students enrolled in a professional health care program that will lead to patient care practice and who are residents of PA, OH, WV, or VA (i.e. spent childhood in one of those states, or at least 10 years preceding matriculation into WesternU). Students must be the first of their nuclear family (father, mother, siblings) to be enrolled in a professional health care program, and must be in good academic standing, maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and submit an essay (500 words or less) addressing how you have been involved in community service (past and present), what you have learned from involvement and explain your experience as the first in your family to be enrolled in a professional health care program. One (1) scholarship award is available in the amount of $1,000.
