Robert Corey, DO, Memorial Scholarship

The Robert Corey, DO, Memorial Scholarship was established in January 1983. Recipients are selected from second-, third-, and fourth-year COMP students for their commitment to osteopathic medicine, outstanding community service and demonstrated financial need.

The number of scholarships and the award amounts vary annually. Student must be making academic progress per institutional policy. Student comportment will be evaluated as demonstrated by attendance, attitude and professional decorum. Applicants will be required to submit a letter of recommendation from the faculty or applicant’s community discussing the student’s commitment to medicine and community activities, as well as an essay (500 words or less) addressing why you entered the study of medicine and how you feel towards the advancement of human rights of all people regardless of race, sex, color, religion, national origin or sexual orientation. Past scholarship recipients are ineligible to reapply.
