Donna Jones Moritsugu Memorial Award (COMP)

Established in 1993, this award is in memory of Donna Jones Moritsugu, wife of Dr. Kenneth P. Moritsugu, Former Deputy Surgeon General of the United States. It honors the partners of graduating osteopathic medical students who best exemplify the role of any professional’s partner by providing immeasurable support and who are often content to bask in the reflected light of their partner, for their unwavering dedication and support. These individuals are the “Wind Beneath Our Wings.”

In partnership with the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association (AAOA), the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) presents this award to one individual from each campus during their partners’ awards ceremony.

Nominate your spouse or partner by writing a one-page letter of recommendation.
