Bascus Family Endowed Scholarship

The Bascus Family Endowed Scholarship was established with a gift from the estate of Amelita Bascus. The successful applicant will be a graduating student who is committed to the completion of a residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. The award honors a student who has promoted diversity at WesternU, and demonstrates a likelihood of serving in medically underserved communities. Financial need is a requirement for this scholarship.
