Dr. Pete Frelinger Family Scholarship

The Dr. Pete Frelinger Family Scholarship is presented to a second- or third-year COMP student who demonstrates a commitment of service to underserved communities, a passion for volunteerism, and has a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA.

Jennifer Linzmeyer, DO ’97, established this family-endowed scholarship in honor of her father, Dr. Pete Frelinger. Dr. Frelinger, a close friend to WesternU Founding President Philip Pumerantz, received a Founders Award from Dr. Pumerantz in 1978. Dr. Linzmeyer is happy to continue the family tradition by “creating a legacy to make her father proud.”

Just a quick reminder—please limit your applications to a maximum of three awards.
