Pauline Weiss Pumerantz Memorial Award
This award commemorates Pauline Weiss Pumerantz, the mother of WesternU Founding President Philip Pumerantz, and his very first teacher. He attributed all of his life’s accomplishments to her and carried her philosophy of caring and compassion with him always.
This award is presented to a graduating COMP student for best demonstrating a full commitment to striving for excellence in education and a desire to become an osteopathic physician who will be a role model for future generations of students.
