The Benjamin Cohen, DO, FACOP, Scholarship in Pediatrics is awarded to a first-, second-, or third-year student who exemplifies intellectual curiosity, compassion, a commitment to community service and philanthropy, and strong academic performance.
Dr. Cohen was a nationally respected pediatrician, academic health leader, and visionary known for his humanistic approach to medicine. This endowed scholarship was established to honor his remarkable contributions to WesternU and the field of pediatrics.
Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a member of the pediatric faculty.
